About Fouad Accad

Fouad Accad is an award-winning architect, urban designer, and professor. Born in Lebanon in 1946, he studied architecture at the American University of Beirut and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Accad has taught at universities around the world, including the American University of Beirut, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University.

Throughout his career, Accad has received numerous prestigious awards and accolades. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the Royal Institute of British Architects. In 2018, he was awarded the Aga Khan Award for Architecture for his work on the Beit Beirut museum.
